Cookies are small data files made up
of letters and numbers placed onto your computer or other mobile devices
when you access the UNSSC LMS. UNSSC uses cookies to collect information
about you to the extent necessary to ensure its website’s functionality
and performance as well as for the purpose of targeting its audience and
tailoring the content offered to the public both on its website and
elsewhere. We send cookies when you visit the UNSSC LMSs, respond to
online surveys or polls, or request information. Accepting the cookies
used on the UNSSC LMS does not give us access to your personally
identifiable information, but we can use the cookies to, for example,
identify whether you are still logged in on the platform.

UNSSC wishes to be transparent with

privacy is protected when visiting the UNSSC LMS.

reasons:

To keep you logged in when you
navigate the platform – Firstly, we use a cookie to maintain your
authentication while navigating the site. This is a session cookie
called MoodleSession and is essential for keeping you authenticated as
you move between pages. Your browser must be configured to accept this
cookie, and it will be deleted once you log out or close your
browser.

More convenient log in – Secondly, we
use a cookie that allows your browser to remember your username for
convenience, this cookie is called MoodleID. This cookie stores your
username within the browser, making it easier to log in when you return
by automatically filling in only the username field. If you choose not
to accept this cookie, you will simply need to re-enter your username
each time you log in.

We may also use other cookies to
improve your experience on the UNSSC LMS and that may be necessary to
ensure the proper functioning of the same in the interest of the
UNSSC.

when visiting the UNSSC LMS are not related to UNSSC. For example, if
